Happy Birthday, Heather!

We had a great 3-day birthday weekend to celebrate Heather's 13th birthday. Maddie spent the night Friday, then those two girls played all Saturday morning. Then, at noon, we had a bowling/pizza party at Kyrene Lanes. The girls had a blast bowling, eating pizza and cake, and visiting with each other. Heather has such nice friends and great cousins too!

After the party, Maddie and Taylor came back to the house and went they all went bike riding and swimming in their clothes (it was freezing!). They rode all over the neighborhood trying to find the "ice cream man," but never found him. Bummer! Like they needed more sweets after all the cake they ate at lunch!

Around dinner time, Dana and Jill came over. Jill and I took the girls to Pei Wei for dinner. After dinner, we came back to the house and played "The Office Trivia Game" that Heather received for her birthday.

On Sunday, we stayed home and watched General Conference on T.V. Then for dinner, Grandpa/Grandma Heywood and Grandpa/Grandma Hair and Alicia came over for dinner. It was another great birthday celebration.

On Monday, Heather's REAL birthday, she woke up to balloons. Much to her dismay, she had to go to school, but she talked me into picking her up. After dinner, the Heywoods next door came over to eat cake and sing, "Happy Birthday," and watch Heather open presents. She got the High School Musical Karaoke Wii game, the Doctor DS game, some books, a laptop bag, and a few other odds and ends. It was exhausting, but a memorable 13th birthday!
